RESUMO:

This research aims to characterize the physical–environmental dynamics—namely, the patterns of relief, drainage, and hydrological processes that structure landscape functioning—in the Jardim Botânico Municipal Natural Park (PNMJB), in Sinop–MT, through geomorphometric analysis of high-resolution geospatial data. The investigation integrates topographic and hydrological variables to interpret landscape behavior, identify environmental vulnerabilities, and support territorial and water-resource management within the conservation unit. The database used includes LiDAR point clouds acquired with the DJI Zenmuse L1 sensor and photogrammetric images generated by the DJI Zenmuse P1 sensor, both mounted on a Matrice 300 RTK UAV. These inputs enable the generation of Digital Terrain, Surface, and Canopy Height Models, from which geomorphometric metrics such as slope, curvature, TWI, LS, TRI, and flow direction and accumulation are derived. The integrated analysis of these variables allows the identification of erosion-prone sectors, areas of flow convergence, and zones of potential groundwater recharge, as well as the detection of structural patterns relevant to understanding the ecological and hydrological processes operating in the park. Expected outcomes include the production of thematic maps, three-dimensional models, topographic profiles, and multivariate syntheses, along with the organization of a standardized geospatial database. The study will also generate a replicable methodological protocol for analyses in urban conservation units, supporting planning, environmental management, and actions aimed at mitigating hydrological risks. The proposal is aligned with the guidelines of the ProfÁgua Program, contributing to the strengthening of green infrastructure, urban ecological resilience, and Sustainable Development Goals related to sustainable cities and the protection of terrestrial ecosystems.
