RESUMO:

The present project is a proposal for a didactic sequence with the objective of promoting literary literacy, through reading strategies, expanding and consolidating the students’ reading - reflective competence, regarding contemporary literature produced in Mato Grosso. Carrying out an intervention proposal is an essential activity of the Professional Master's Program in Literature – PROFLETRAS – and the work entitled: MATO-GROSSENSE LITERATURE EXALTED IN THE LINES OF CONFERÊNCIA NO CERRADO, BY DURVAL DE FRANÇA AND CRISTINA CAMPOS will have as a theoretical framework studies on reading and literary literacy by: Ângela Kleiman (2008), Antônio Cândido (2004), Teresa Colomer (2007), Rildo Cosson (2021), among others. The research methodology will have contributions from the reading strategies of Isabel Solé (2014), in line with the didactic sequence of Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly (2004) and will be supported by the methodological guidance of qualitative action research of Thiollent (1986) and Antônio Carlos Gil (2002). Therefore, this research work will have as an educational resource an e-book with the students’ textual productions, through the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies – TDICs. The project will be developed with the 9th year class at Escola Municipal Primavera, district of the municipality of Sorriso-MT, given the fragility of students’ reading and interpretation during Portuguese language classes and other subjects, as well as the lack of repertoire at the moment of writing. Furthermore, at the same time, it seeks to stimulate readers' imagination and creativity, encouraging them to visualize scenarios, characters and events and promoting the creation of their own interpretations and ideas, by involving them in imaginative narratives produced in Mato Grosso. In view of the weaknesses highlighted, it is hoped to promote the involvement of students in the proposal and that at the end of it it will be possible to answer the two questions that guide this action research: How can reading literary texts produced in Mato Grosso contribute to the development of literacy of adolescent students? How can Mato Grosso literature contribute to the formation of reflective readers in relation to humanity and the environment? How does the inclusion of literature produced in Mato Grosso enrich the national literary panorama and contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of Brazil’s cultural diversity?
