RESUMO:

This project presents a research proposal on the reading and production of the textual genre short story, to be developed at the Rui Barbosa State School, located in the city of Alta Floresta/MT, with the eighth year class of Elementary School II, with the objective facilitate textual production and reading of stories, to develop students' reading and interpretative skills. Since, it is observed that these activities are becoming a very arduous task for students and a unanimous cry among teachers for the lack of interest in reading. Thus, with the purpose of combining different skills, the research paths will focus on the search for the incorporation of multiliteracies through the production of book trailers. This study will use the qualitative method to enable the empiricism present in the classroom, through the actions of students through the problems that arise in the production and reading of text. The following authors are used as theoretical basis: Thiollent, (2011), Dolz Noverraz and Schneuwly, (2004), Marcuschi, (2002), Cosson, (2014), Rojo, (2009), Soares, (2001) Bakhtin (1992 ), Solé (1998). In carrying out the proposed investigation, the following works will be analyzed: “Come see the sunset”, by Lygia Fagundes Telles, “A fortune teller” by Machado de Assis, “The naked man” by Fernando Sabino, “O compadre da morte” by Luís by Câmara Cascudo and “As ants” by Lygia Fagundes Telles. To achieve the objective, students will be divided into groups to read the selected texts and produce short stories. The final product to be generated will be a book trailer in which they will use resources such as images, music, visual effects and narration to highlight the most interesting aspects of their textual productions with the aim of arousing the public's interest in reading the stories. Finally, the resulting book trailer will be a digital work that can be shared on social media, presented to the school community and even sent to the original authors of the stories produced. This will allow students to share their work, gain recognition, and feel valued for their achievements.
