RESUMO:

Brazil is considered one of the largest exporters of agricultural products in the world, and soybeans are the most prominent commodity, having a wide range of uses, primarily in the production of animal feed and biodiesel. The state of Mato Grosso is the national leader in soybean production. In order to increase production, Legal Reserve areas are threatened, as their benefits are little known to producers. These areas of native forest near fields favor the presence of various organisms, serving as shelter, reproduction points, etc. Some of these organisms offer benefits for crops, contributing to pollination, soil aeration and health, as well as biological control. Biological control has gained considerable visibility for reducing the use of agricultural pesticides and consists of controlling pests through their natural enemies. Among the organisms that play this role, beetles from the families Carabidae and Staphylinidae stand out. These beetles are important bioindicators and can be used in Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Some species of Staphylinidae beetles act as predators of dipteran eggs, while others are essential for nutrient cycling and maintaining soil health. On the other hand, Carabidae beetles are important predators of soybean caterpillars, and some species help control weeds by feeding on their seeds. This study aims to investigate the effects of trap type, habitat type, and landscape characteristics on the assembly of predatory beetles in agricultural landscapes of Mato Grosso
