Orange (Citrus sinensis L. Osbeck) plays a crucial role in the Brazilian economy, being one of the main agricultural crops in the country. The appropriate choice of scion and rootstock is essential to ensure vigorous, productive and high-quality orchards. Therefore, it is essential to conduct research on the expansion and diversification of scion/rootstock combinations and to evaluate the agronomic potential of new genotypes to optimize the production system in different regions. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the agronomic performance of ten sweet orange cultivars grafted onto two rootstocks, ‘Citrumelo Swingle’ and ‘Citrumelo F80-5’, under the edaphoclimatic conditions of Tangará da Serra - MT. The experiment was carried out at the “Boitanga” farm with a randomized block experimental design, 2 x 10 factorial scheme (two rootstocks and ten scion cultivars), with four replicates and one plant per plot. The fruits were harvested, weighed and analyzed during the 2023/2024 harvest. Preliminary results showed that the most productive scion cultivar on Citrumelo Swingle rootstock was Valencia Americana, while the cultivars Hamlin and Mayorca stood out on F80-5 rootstock. Mayorca had good productivity on both rootstocks. The scion/rootstock combinations presented juice yields above 35%, except for the Baia Cara Cara scion on F80-5 and Valencia Taquari on Citrumelo Swingle. No combination reached soluble solids values above 10ºBrix, but all showed total acidity below 1% and a ratio above 9.5. The best scion/rootstock combinations were Valencia Americana on Citrumelo Swingle and Hamlin and Mayorca on F80-5.
