RESUMO:

Family Farming (FF) plays a fundamental role in food production and in the sustainability of agroecosystems. The National School Feeding Program (PNAE) promotes the acquisition of food from family farming, strengthening short marketing circuits. At the same time, the Circular Economy presents principles aimed at the efficient use of natural resources, with the ReSOLVE framework standing out as a tool for analyzing sustainable practices and with potential to contribute to family farming and to the PNAE. However, its application was originally developed in the industrial context, highlighting the need for adaptation for use in FF. Thus, this research aims to adapt the ReSOLVE framework to the context of FF and to analyze the practices developed by family farmers participating in the PNAE in the municipality of Nova Olímpia-MT. It is an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, based on data obtained through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using content analysis. The expectation is to contribute to the understanding of the Circular Economy in this context and to provide an adaptation of the ReSOLVE framework applicable to the analysis of family production systems.
