THE VARIATION OF THE ANAPHORIC DIRECT OBJECT IN THE SPEECH OF QUILOMBOLAS FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF POCONÉ-MT

The present research was developed based on the theoretical contributions of Sociolinguistics in the bias that studies and analyzes the variation of spoken Portuguese in Afro-Brazilian communities. In this sense, this study named The variation of the anaphoric direct object in the speech of quilombolas from Poconé-MT aims to analyze the occurrences of the anaphoric direct object in the speech of quilombolas from Poconé-MT, contributing with studies of linguistic contact of African languages with the Portuguese language in Brazil. It is noticed that there are numerous variable phenomena of Brazilian Portuguese in this community, thus we intend to investigate which are the variants of the anaphoric direct object in the speech of Afro-Brazilians in the municipality of Poconé? Which linguistic or extralinguistic factors favor/disfavor the use of the anaphoric direct object variants in the speech of the quilombolas of Poconé? The corpus is composed of 13 (thirteen) interviews conducted with quilombolas from the municipality of Poconé, in the state of Mato Grosso, in which the occurrences of the variations of the anaphoric direct object were selected. This variation called our attention and we decided to investigate the occurrence of this phenomenon in this community through speech data collected from quilombolas in the municipality of Poconé-MT and provided by the Database of the supervisor of this research, Professor Antonio Carlos Santana de Souza.
