SCIENCE TEACHING IN SCHOOLS IN THE STATE NETWORK OF MATO GROSSO DURING THE REMOTE PERIOD 2020-2021: POSSIBILITIES AND CHALLENGES

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we experienced profound transformations in our society, which significantly affected the educational system, demanding new work methodologies from schools and teachers and, with that, the need for strategies that could minimize the impacts on the environment. teaching during this period, guaranteeing the student's access to school knowledge. Considering this fact, the present study aims to analyze how Science teaching occurred in the final years of the state network of Mato Grosso during the remote period (2020-2021), specifically in three schools in the Vale do Jauru region, located in the municipalities of Mirassol D'Oeste, Rio Branco and Salto do Céu, in a context of social distancing, in which the difficulties encountered in carrying out classes involved pedagogical, didactic and technological issues. With a qualitative approach, the research was carried out in the school units of the three mentioned municipalities and had the participation of teachers who taught the curricular component of Science in elementary school II. Data production was carried out through semi-structured interviews with the participants and subsequently evaluated through Interpretive Analysis (SEVERINO, 2007).
