RESUMO:

This project aims to evaluate the performance of different types of agricultural management, both conventional and regenerative, in the production of cut sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) in the southwest region of the state of Mato Grosso. Sunflower, widely used in floriculture due to its hardiness and aesthetic appeal, is a promising crop for small and medium-sized producers. The growing demand for sustainable practices in flower cultivation reinforces the need for studies on organic and regenerative methods that promote environmental preservation and economic return. The research will be carried out in an open field at the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), with a comparative analysis between different agricultural management strategies, seeking to validate a regenerative cultivation protocol adapted to local conditions. The study also aims to understand the influence of these managements on the nutrition, development and post-harvest durability of sunflower flowers, contributing to sustainable floriculture and the local economy.
