This dissertation research has as main objective to approach part of the History of Africa through the Mozambican literary production of Ungulani Ba Ka Khosa, especially in the short stories collections Ualalapi and Orgia dos Loucos, in which we problematize aspects of the European imperialist neocolonization and the search for the emancipation of the territory. From our primary sources, from the proposition of building interdisciplinary relationships focused on the Teaching of History and in order to promote Law No. 10.639/2003, we carried out the pedagogical product provided for in the curriculum development in the Professional Master's Degree in History (ProfHistory), which was the extension course: “African History and Literature in the context of the neocolonization and decolonization of Mozambique”, aimed at collaborating in the training of teachers and students, interested in the relationship between History and Literature and in African themes. We used as a reference Benoit (2002), Mbembe (2019), Oliva (2020), among other theorists, who helped us to a deeper analysis of African History and Literature, in Portuguese. In this perspective, this text is structured in three chapters, the first being a bibliographical review on the colonization and decolonization of Africa and Asia, the second chapter reflections between History and Literature, where we present a narrative perspective, through African lenses. The third and last chapter will deal with the extension course and the results of the data obtained in it.
