RESUMO:

From my coexistence and experience as teacher and pedagogical coordinator at Xinui Mỹky Indigenous State School from 2015 to 2020, and from the introduction of the High School to the Professional Education (EMIEP) – Technical Course in Agroecology, this research sought to understand how History teaching occurs through culture and its interface aligned with the agroecologic knowledge in the practical classes.  We used as resources the textbooks, written or audiovisuals produced by the teachers in the school, the political pedagogical project, the national curriculum reference for the indigenous school (RCNEI), the records about the cultural weeks scheduled by the school, records of the practical classes and technical visits, The Law 11.645 and the bibliography about the indigenous education as a way of understanding the pedagogical possibilities for teaching of history and culture. We sought theoretical support Baniwa (2013), Melà (1978) in order to understand the historical development of the construction of the indigenous scholar education in Brazil; Bittencourt (1994, 2010) the concepts of history teaching, Costa (2018) indigenous protagonism; Silva (2008) to the application of the Law 11.645. Our question starts from how does the history and culture of the Mỹky people is taught at the Xinui Mỹky State Indigenous school? Thus, a pedagogical product called the Pedagogical Workshop for teachers on Teaching History, Agroecological, Cultural and Sustainable Practices will be developed, based on the agroecological experiences and practices developed by the school from 2016 to 2020. This workshop will contain three sessions; the first session is a proposal to work on the Students' Life Project based on personal and collective identity with an emphasis on the History and Culture of the Mỹky people; the second session provides guidance on how to work on research and teaching of agroecological knowledge based on the knowledge of elders through social cartography, and finally, on the last session, it gives indications of themes to be worked on in practical classes.
