reflections on the Gleba Providência III in Curvelândia/MT

The research aimed to analyze the process that leads to the emptying of Gleba Providência III, legitimizing the difficulties and implications for the continuity of the community's development and everything that derives from it, as well as reflecting and interpreting the conditions of territory and place in the economic, social, territorial, identity and work aspects in Gleba Providência III, municipality of Curvelândia/MT. The search for existing relationships within the context of this territory is evidenced, which allowed a substantial analysis of the process of living, working, producing. It was possible to dialogue with the perceptions of the geographic concepts, specifically of the territory and place, as important instruments in the analysis of the geographic space, where the peasants and the peasants who live there are inserted. These concepts were essential to understand the historical preambles of the formation of the community and the connection and access that they have, or not, to the minimum conditions of (re)existence, for the permanence with dignity in their lots. In the meantime, as a necessary and fundamental prerogative in the analysis, it was possible to understand the difficulties encountered by families to stay and work on their lands, which became a paradigm for understanding a possible abandonment of the countryside, a true expropriation of the peasantry.
